Using a traditional technique to create delicacies that cherish the seasons
A freestanding house on the quiet Kiyamachi-dori away from the bustle. You can enjoy distinguished Kyoto cuisine in a space of refined beauty while viewing the Kamo River and beyond, the 36 Peaks of Higashiyama. The chef/owner personally goes to the market and purchases ingredients and upholds “creating delicacies that cherish the seasons” as his culinary basis. Each dish brings out the appeal of the ingredients with traditional techniques and gloriously expresses the sensitivity of the changing seasons. In the summertime, chairs are set upon the noryo-yuka (wooden terraces for enjoying the breeze) to fully enjoy the ambiance while feeling the cooling breeze.

High-backed chairs are provided at the tatami-mat seating area to aid mobility. The main dining room may be rented out for parties.
