Exquisite dishes at exceptional value
Situated close to the bustling Nishiki market, this restaurant boasts a prime location. At the helm of the open kitchen is Chef Honda, a seasoned culinary artist with over 15 years’ experience in Gion’s French cuisine scene and prestigious hotels. Despite his expertise, the atmosphere remains casual and welcoming―Honda’s jovial demeanour and meticulously prepared dishes create a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can enjoy their meal with ease. The fish for the house-smoked salmon, marinated mackerel and carpaccio is fresh from the market every day. Main courses served in cocottes, such as the daily fish poêlé (¥1,880) or roast duck breast, come with seasonal vegetables for a satisfying feast. Most menu items can be ordered as half-portions, perfect for solo diners who want to pair their meal with a glass of wine (from ¥750) on those “me-time”

1F: Counter for solo diners. 2F: Tables for leisurely conversations with friends.
